Two Delicate Cards

I'd like to share some cards I created by blending 2Crafty Chipboard  with elements of the Flying Unicorn February kit for the month.  It's always great when you can mix and match your favorite products.

I had some scraps leftover from my Flying Unicorn Feb kit that were perfect for cards.  The paper collection this month is from Riddersholm's Newport collection and it's peaceful and divine.

In addition to the Newport collection, you can find a great assortment of Riddersholm papers at the Flying Unicorn store.   You can also snag some gorgeous 2Crafty chipboard as well.

I left the 2Crafty chipboard pieces natural looking.  They make such a graceful statement on the cards.  Cards do not need to be super fancy in order to be appreciated.

The first card uses the elegant "Rose Vine Heart" chipboard piece.  The delicate scroll work is just exquisite.

I customized the lace from my stash to match the colors of the card by misting it with Prima's Color Bloom mist in Tea Stain.   The flower is a little dainty Petaloo Forget-Me-Not in mauve.

This is the second card.  I used the "Flower Spurt Chain" piece for this as a border.  Once again a very delicate chipboard piece that has a giant impact on the card.   You can see how gorgeous the Riddersholm Newport collection is, and why I didn't want to toss it out.
